Share your launch timeline as one picture
Export a Plainrival timeline as a PNG, a PDF or a copied image: a launch map, a progress card or a calendar poster, in light or dark.

A launch plan usually lives in a doc, a board and someone's head. Your manager wants one picture: where the launch stands, what is done and what comes next. Plainrival Timeline now exports any timeline as that picture, in three styles, in light or dark, as a PNG, a PDF or an image you paste straight into Slack.
Every export comes from the timeline itself: your plans, your dated days and their checklists. Nothing is typed twice, and the numbers match what your team has ticked off.
Launch map: where the launch stands
One lane per plan, all on the same dates. Each day is a dot: filled when its checklist is done, half filled when it is under way, hollow when nothing is ticked yet. A thin orange line marks today, and the ring in the corner shows how much of the whole launch is done.
Use it in the weekly launch sync, or at the top of a status update, when the question is "are we on track?".
Progress card: the launch in numbers
A big ring with the share of checklist items done, then four numbers: items done, days finished, the next day with open work, and the days left. Under them, a bar per plan and a strip with one square per day, darker as more of its checklist is done.
Use it for a management update, a board slide or a post about your launch. It reads in two seconds.
Calendar poster: the dates at a glance
The months as calendar grids. Each planned day is a tile in its plan's colour, with its title and a tick once it is done. Today has an orange outline.
Use it for a kickoff deck, a printed plan on the wall, or anyone who thinks in dates rather than tasks.
How to export a timeline
Open the timeline
Go to Timeline in Plainrival and pick the timeline you want to share.
Click Export
The button sits at the top, between New plan and Options. A preview opens.
Choose a style and a theme
Switch between Launch map, Progress card and Calendar poster, and between light and dark. The preview changes as you click. If the page is filtered to one plan, you can export just that plan.
Download or copy
Download PNG gives a 2400 × 1350 image for slides and posts. Download PDF opens your browser's print dialog: choose Save as PDF for one A4 page. Copy image puts the picture on your clipboard, ready to paste.
Plainrival remembers the style and theme you used last, so the next export starts there.
Light or dark
Pick the theme that matches where the picture goes. Light suits documents, printed pages and most slide templates. Dark suits dark slides and social posts, where it stands out in a busy feed.
Every picture says where it came from
Each export carries a faint Plainrival mark in the corner and a small line at the bottom: "Planned in Plainrival · plainrival.com", with the date of the export. When a picture gets forwarded or posted, people can see where it was made and when.
Free on every plan
Timeline is free on every Plainrival plan, the Free plan included, and so is exporting. Create an account, add your launch days and their checklists, and share the picture with your team the same day.
Questions
Questions about exporting a timeline
Does exporting a timeline cost anything?
No. Timeline and its export are part of every plan, including the Free plan.
Can I export only one plan?
Yes. Filter the timeline to that plan first, then choose that plan in the export dialog.
Do the checklist items show in the picture?
The picture shows each day with its title and how much of its checklist is done, not the items themselves. That keeps it readable on one slide.
Which formats can I export?
A PNG image at 2400 × 1350 pixels, a one-page A4 PDF through your browser's print dialog, or a copied image you can paste into Slack, a doc or a slide.
